DHL in general is horrible. My order had extra taxes and duties which is making it so much harder to get my order. Only reason I knew about the extra fees is because of watching my tracking. I arranged for it to be sent to a closer location so I could pay for and pick up at the same time. I wasn’t informed that my order wouldn’t be processed for 24-48 hours after making the request which is 2 days after the expected delivery. Being the weekend there isn’t even a number to reach them at (or maybe I was just too late being they are back east, I called at 1pm). Went into the store and the guy was literally sitting around, even though they are super busy. My shipment won’t be in until Monday now and ready for pick up on Tuesday, 4 days after the expected delivery. Getting a straight answer and the truth from anyone is extremely hard. I have dealt with numerous people, and still waiting for a text about the duties owed or my shipment being delayed. Super frustrating.

Been waiting on a package since the 8th. Can't even contact them. I contacted the seller and asked and they had shipped it awhile back. They checked with DHL and DHL said the package had just arrived which was stated to be on the 13th. I have a screenshot of my package being at the Surrey location since the 8th. What the hell.

I went there yesterday to drop off my package and i was totally happy with these young 3 mens working there. They were so helpful and very patient with the customer, not rushing us and even offering help. I was very satisfied with the service, and these guys deserved a good review. It's been a while that i got these kind of service from any establishment. I was really really happy and even my son noticed how great the service we received. I believed that these branch deserve much more than 2 stars. Most of the people reviews here are meant for the drivers/delivery. It should be address properly.

Everyone was home for the whole entire day and I received a message that there was no response. I also arranged a day for a delivery after that and they said that it will get delivered by the end of the day of it never did get delivered. I changed the delivery date after that to Jan. 7th and it still didn’t get delivered 🙄 it didn’t only happened to me. It happened to my friends too. It was supposed to be delivered by Jan 3. but it is Jan 7th right now at the end of the day and is still not delivered

I to wish to join the growing chorus of complaints against DHL over the additional duty and processing charges this company indulges in. I was recently charged $21.53 CAD on a very small electronic item that I paid $57.23 CAD for. I had already paid the merchant a $14 CAD shipping fee. I have contacted the merchant and warned them of this practice by DHL and was promptly refunded the amount charged by DHL. This company obviously thinks the cost benefit ratio of over charging out ways its reputational cost in the world of business which is short sited to say the least. This is the only shipping company I have dealt with that indulges in this practice and I too will be contacting merchants in the future to clarify that this company will not be part of our transaction. Additionally I will take every opportunity that presents itself to enlighten people of DHL’s current business practices.

Note that these guys are at a different location now 12888 80th Ave. Visited this location yesterday and it was a very pleasant experience. The guy and the girl who helped us with our package were very helpful, friendly and funny. I will always go to this location for my overseas shipping needs.

Just wanted to let DHL know that we had great service today from Jaspreet Dhaliwal in Chilliwack BC. He went out of his way to make sure I got my parts after the shipper used my old address. I got a call that he delivered, but once we figured out it was at my previous house, he picked it up and brought it to me. More than he had to do and I really appreciate his efforts. Thanks!!

Worst service I ever had. Drivers updating wrong info of attempt to delivery was made but unfortunately recipient not at home. When I inquired, customer advisor told me my package is still in Richmond. It haven't got picked. Don't rely DHL guys, if you are planning to send personal docs or commodities. Expert service company in stealing your stuff. Never go with them.

Once again, their surrey delivery drivers don’t want to do their job. They phoned me to tell me they were at the front door to my apartment complex. When I answered, they said the package was here and to come and get it. I told him to buzz 419 and come upstairs to drop the package to my door. At which point he told me that company policy forbids them from entering the apartment. When I asked him for his name and employee number so I can confirm with head office with regards to this policy,he hung the phone up on me. Avoid DHL; in Surrey especially ,as their drivers do not want to do their job and are using COVID as an excuse...dropping a package at the door is a lot safer than meeting face to face in the lobby. It’s a no brainer

Always a terrible time using DHL. Premium prices for shipping on products that rarely arrive during suggested window. Slapped with last minute heavy charges and fees that double shipping cost. Recommended to stay away from DHL and try find another product/carrier.

I was suppose to get my documents from India yesterday. I got a SMS from DHL that packet will be delivered yesterday. I kept on waiting. No one came. At around 5:42 pm I get another SMS that the packer could not be delivered as no one was at home. I was waiting since morning. I went to Surrey Central mall outlet. The person at the counter said come tomorrow for the packet. I told him I paid heavily to get delivery on time as I need these documents urgently. I told him to call the driver to tell him that I was awaiting at home and why did he gave wrong message. He called the driver and told him that I was at home and now I am waiting at outlet for packet. After some wait the driver came and handed the parcel. When I asked him why he did not deliver at my home, he had no reply and just ran away from the store. DHL charges exorbitantly, but service is just useless, not dependable at all. The packet was not dropped at my home, no call from DHL for information in packet and then expecting me to go to their outlet at their discretion for collection of packet. Not worth. FedEx, and other courier services are much better. Negative rating from my side.

Went here to pick up a package. Just one person at the counter so the line moved slowly. Masks are required. If you come without a mask, masks and sanitizer are available for customer use. Markers for social distancing. Plexiglass at counters.

If I could give this company a 0 rating for customer service, delivery and everything else in between I would. They are by far the worst shipping service I have received in the entire lower mainland. I tried communication by phone, by email, and nothing seemed to work. It took over 5 business days to deliver the package. And then, they delivered it to the wrong delivery checkpoint and they blamed the customer! Ridiculous
