I received a package from FedEx in error. When I tried to call FedEx to alert them, I was thrust into voice-prompt hell. After spending 20 minutes or so trying to speak to a human, I gave up. I took the package to the nearest FedEx shipping location, (a 35 minute drive) , and was told by the employee that there was nothing they could do and that they would likely just throw the package away. This in spite of the fact that all of the correct address information was on the packing slip. All they needed to do was print another shipping label and send it off, right? Wrong. They'd rather toss this carton in the trash than try. Unbelievable.
