Without fail,every FED EX ground shipment destined for Bracebridge gets delayed in Barrie,regardless of how far away it’s coming from. Apparently they broker the delivery to an outside carrier,and that carrier drops the ball. Three shipments in a few months,and now another that arrived in Barrie two days ago is still sitting with no ETA. Could have driven down to pick it up,but FED EX won’t connect customers to the outside carrier. So no way to retrieve packages without lengthy phone battles to light a fire. I think these carriers forget that many of us work in the transportation industry. There is no excuse for this level of poor customer service and lack of communication. If there’s an option,avoid using fed ex if you live north of Barrie.

From top to bottom, this company is useless. Package wasn't delivered because nobody could sign for it (two people were home at the time, but I'm not going to speculate on why it wasn't delivered). I called fedex to make arrangements (the package consisted of work necessities) and was told that it would be dropped off at the staples fedex desk (made sure they gave me the store address to avoid mixups). Went to the pick it up after work, it had been sent to the regional hub, that was closed. Customer service said they would "try" to leave it as a SNR delivery, but they're "not allowed to." The complete ineptitude of the driver and the customer service agents has cost me a bunch of productivity time and money. From now on, I'll refuse fedex and request alternate method of delivery for all packages, especially if I'm shipping/ordering anything for work.

Lost $100 shipping because they didn't want to deliver to my adress and had to send my package back to USA. I'll never pay expedited shipping or FedEx again I'll choose any other company.
