I'm a very small business owner and needed a cost-effective way to send a 200lb machine from Vancouver to Regina. Day & Ross was not only a great value, they were wonderful to work with, allowing me the freedom to drop-off my crate at the terminal (others would not) and have the buyer pick-up at terminal (saving several hundred dollars). At the terminal, they were not only responsive, good communicators, but went above and beyond, driving the fork-lift to my cargo van and helping me get the machine to ground skid side down.

We had an absolutely dreadful experience with Day & Ross
 our package was lost/misplaced for nearly two months and they kept telling us it was delivered when it wasn’t. Then we were told that we’d be contacted to setup a delivery date, but instead I got a phone call after midnight while we were away in Italy on vacation with them telling me that the driver was at our place and needed us to sign for the delivery. They said someone has to sign for the package asap or that they’d be returning it, and to top it off they said they could only drop off the crate at the bottom of our driveway - needless to say we couldn’t coordinate anything on such short notice and the crate was returned. We’re still in the middle of getting it shipped back to us and we aren’t expecting it anytime soon. Absolutely the worst delivery service we’ve ever dealt with. They wouldn’t even give me their company name over the phone (I’m assuming they wanted to avoid another 1 star review..) and I had to reach out to the store to ask who they used for the shipping.

Received a delivery today 18 Aug 2022. (Two very heavy 52" Workbenches I am not able to move on my own) Was told that they couldn't deliver to my floor (my condo building is such that all units are in close proximity to the elevator and i wasn't asking that they enter my condo) and was told that they had Strict Covid policy - fair enough HOWEVER the two guys delivering turned up without wearing a mask - so do you think that Covid only is passed on if you venture up to a floor in the condo building but not on the foyer level? I actually work a masking thinking the deliver guys were going to be doing so as well since I was told that they were following strict Covid policy. Doesn't sound Strict to me. Best not to use Covid as an excuse and just say it isn't Company policy to offer any assistance with the delivery heavy items. With a previous delivery from Home Depot the other delivery company brought the items up.

Worst delivery service ever. I called them to re-schedule my delivery because they missed their timeline. The day after that I received an email which was saying its out for delivery. Called them again and asked them why its out, I spoke with you guys yesterday to do a re-schedule and they said no one called and talked to us about this!!

Items shipped from Boston to Vancouver, but the crate was too big to deliver to the UBC loading bay. Worked closely with the team to unload at their location in Burnaby and transport in small packages. Great communication.
