Terrible and shocking experience! I grabbed the box right after the driver left it in front of my house door(Edmonton). I noticed the unusual light weight of the box. And also a cut on the box. Lookat the photos. Opened it right away and ... the CPAP machine is missing!!! Can you believe this? I ordered this CPAP machine more than one week ago and when it is delivered the machine is not in the box! Unbelievable! I took photos and emailed to the seller and tried to call Canpar office and chat to live chat but no chance. I'm waiting for seller's response but at the same time Canpar as courier is responsible for this. This is a $1200 machine. The worst part is that my son cannot sleep without this machine. I am so frustrated and angry and I may report this as a theft and also to the news.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. Absolutely horrible service. I have never had an issue with any other courier services. I have received couriers from other countries on time and without hassle. This delivery service was not selected by me. It was by Walmart from where I had purchased a bed. They have provided a tracking number but the updates are lagging. Since I received the tracking number, it showed me shipment will be delivered on Friday- July 15 by the end of the day. I was home all day. Didn’t receive any notice card nor any updates on the tracking information site. I waited until 12.00 am as the message on the site kept showing ‘Delivery by the end of the day.’ Within a few minutes at 12.01 am, the tracking site conveniently changed their message to ‘delay in shipment’. So I had to wait until Monday to see what’s the new update. On Monday morning, July 18, it showed me that delivery would be done by the end Of the day. Again, I was at home the whole day, waiting eagerly for my shipment. However, at 2.00 pm, I received a message saying that parcel was not delivered as consigned was not at home. I immediately went and checked outside my door so that I could stop them in time. But there was no one. In the meantime, I called their customer service. The lady on the call was seeming so uninterested and a bit rude. She didn’t have an answer to my questions about the location of the parcel. The driver left the notice card on my lobby door which said that they will attempt to deliver the next day(Tuesday- July 19). I wrote a message for the driver on the card which informs him to enter the lobby door as it is always unlocked and to knock on my unit number. I also provided my cell phone number. I have been home all day and have been checking the tracking number since morning and it still shows the expected delivery date as July 18, which was yesterday. Again, I called their customer ‘disservice’ number. Again they couldn’t help me. The agent told me to wait until 6-7 pm and call them back. He didn’t have any information on why the tracking information has not been updated. And he wasn’t sure if I will receive my shipment today or not. This was my first time ordering furniture online and it was such a mess and a very bad experience with poor customer service. Zero ratings for Canpar.

I received a notification that Canpar had attempted to deliver a parcel and that I was to pick it up the following day at Lucky Convenience (I was on hold with Canpar for 39 minutes before someone told me the location).
When I went to Lucky Convenience, they wouldn't release the parcel to me without copying the information from my Driver's license, including my license number, onto their personal cell phone.
Is Canpar instructing their "Smartspot" partners to copy (steal) identification from customers?
I will NEVER order from a company that uses Canpar for their delivery partner.

I would say that the service is horrible, but wait, I didn't get any service at all. Used the tracking number that was provided and saw that the shipment was delayed enroute in Winnipeg due to weather. Checked the weather network and there were no issues at all. Delivery day arrives and I know that it is out for delivery. Because I've signed up for the delivery exceptions I find out that they were unable to deliver because the business was closed. What a joke. The address was residential and I was home waiting for the package to be delivered. They lied, and I see from reading other reviews that it seems to be a trend with this company Use another courier service!

These people are a joke. For a week they would not stop at the senders location to pick up the package, the sender drove the package to the depot and dropped it off. Then the package was held at the destination depot for 4 days. Finally I drive 40 minutes to pick up the package from the depot and I am told that the reason they did not deliver the package was because the driver for that route does not like anything heavy so they just deliver what is easy and light and nobody there is going to do anything about it because they are unionized. This is what they tell me. Unbelievable.
