Recently mailed a letter here and was charged $1.90. Never really thought about it at the time since I don't mail many letters. He even weighed the envelope. It was a single piece of paper inside. Someone needs to be trained better.

Absolutely horrified by the shoppers staff working behind the Canada post desk. 100% the worst customer service I have ever received or experiance, it's taken them over 4 weeks to move a package from gregior to downtown, and the ladies behind the desk refuse to even go check for your package, then sent me to a location that has been closed since the flood last spring, just to finding they have the package at their location the entire time they were just too lazy to check in the back.. as they generally speaking are.. even the shoppers staff at Canada post in thuckwoo are miles and miles better than the staff at this downtown location..

Slow service but that is because I am always behind the person who has a lot of needs and there is only ever one staff person at the counter. How can it be possible that every time I go to the post office the person in front of my has an issue that takes 15 - 20 minutes to address, it would seem to defy probability. Once I finally get to the counter to be served the staff is quick, friendly, and efficient.

Their staff is not properly trained.. sometimes you have to wait for 20min just to pick up a package. One of their employees doesn’t understand letters and numbers, so communication is very challenging

Called to check on a parcel, was put on hold after being cut off by postal outlet manager Imelda, and left on hold for almost an hour. When she finally got to me she was extremely rude, and her lack of customer service was appalling She said that she was busy with in store customers, and basically said that I was less important because I was not physically in the store. Worst customer service I have ever had!!

Not only is the staff they have not trained, they just don't have enough staff, they don't bother to hire more people when it gets busy. My packages are usually late and sometimes show up at the neighbours. Easily the worst post service in Canada. Every other mail service is open during hard times except Canada post.
