Horrendous delivery system. I was tracking a package and it was supposed to arrive on June 7th by noon. A signature was required and import fees needed to be paid to the driver, so I took off the day from work to be sure that I could sign for the package and pay what was required. At 12:15pm, I check the tracking status and it suddenly says "Delivery Attempted". I was shocked because I intentionally stayed home and made sure to keep an eye out for the truck. It never came. A delivery was NEVER attempted. I called Customer Support and the very rude agent told me that the driver would not stop because import fees were due. I didn't understand, how do you want me to pay import fees if the driver doesn't even stop? The agent explained to me that since May 2022, you can no longer pay the driver and must do everything online. (It states clearly on the little yellow import fee warning when you track the parcel that you can pay the driver at the time of delivery). How is the customer supposed to know this when they are never informed of it??? I asked for my options and he said "You'll have to wait for tomorrow." I refuse to take off a second day of work because of this terrible delivery service. He rudely transferred me to someone else and I was put on hold (again). Now the parcel is being re-routed to their delivery center and I have to go pick it up myself in "1-2 business days". What is this service??? First time I have to deal with this kind of stuff from a delivery service. I am so annoyed.
