Was watching for delivery of a package. I was not home and the truck flagged the package would go to this location. It was Friday before the long weekend. I called this location and asked if they would get it that day for pick up. They told me I had to call UPS customer support and have the truck deliver it to them that day. They wanted to customer to track down the package, not a good start. Also, why doesn't the truck drop off the packages at the drop off point at the end of the route. I called UPS customer support, was told there was a 6 minute wait and could get a call back, which I took. The call back did not come. This was about 2:30PM. I called them later in the afternoon. UPS customer support said I could pick up the package the next day. I went to this location Saturday morning. They said they did not have the package and nothing else. So far no help from this location. As I was leaving I said a bad word in frustration. Then they showed some initiative, to be bossy about language. Tuesday after the long weekend, I was watching for delivery to this location. By later in the afternoon it was still in transit. I called UPS customer support. The package was going to spend a few days travelling around on the truck. I asked them to drop it off at a different (closer) drop off point and they said it would be there Wednesday by noon. This is yet another failure of UPS and this UPS store. When I cam in, they should have offered to have the parcel dropped off the next business day instead of having it ride around on the truck. Wednesday and I am monitoring for the drop off. It does finally get made, but not at the location UPS customer support had said it would be dropped off it. UPS as a large company was really bad at delivering packages in a timely manner. This location showed no interest in assisting get a package delivered.
