Expecting a large crate to be delivered. Based on their tracking I had to return from vacation for a day to receive it. It didn't arrive and I was called later in the day to hear it would be the next day. Despite us saying no less than 5 times in previous calls that *we don't have a fork lift* and they will need a truck with a rear lift, on delivery day they called again to ask if we have a fork lift. Then he had to call back. The guy was friendly and polite but this experience says to me that they have some serious business process issues. Great employees maybe but they are not equipped to be successful. As the delivery is a critical part of the customer journey, I strongly consider that any company consider this review of caution before choosing Day & Ross Freight to deliver to your customers. I just bumped my review from one store to three simply because the front lines delivery guys who came to my house were very positive and did an excellent job in getting the crate into my garage. If only these great employees had the processes to make them better support them! The delivery guys said they had nothing on file telling them that I didn't have a forklift. So I take off two stars because they're tracking system said it was coming yesterday and because I grew bored of telling them that we don't have a forklift. The delivery guys alone do deserve five stars. It's the rest of the team that let them down.
