I run a contracting company and have had suppliers use Day and Ross at least a dozen times now to ship us equipment. I have yet to receive one shipment within an acceptable time frame. (Typically months wait time on a 4-10 hour drive) Have had shipments go completely missing as well. Long wait times on hold at their call center and they typically can never give answers either on what's going on.

Probably the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. My item was delivered 3 weeks later than promised. Their on-line tracking system doesn’t work and wouldn’t locate their own tracking number. They promised 3 times to deliver the item on a certain day and never showed. When I offered to pick it up at the warehouse, they would not let me as it violated their contract with the seller, even though they violated their own contract by not shipping it in the timeline promised. When I asked to speak to a mgr, they said one would call back but never did. Over a period of 5 weeks they never provided a single email or text notice on their delivery. I used Ace Courier for a different purchase on a Monday and it was delivered by Wednesday coming from Vancouver to Kelowna so I know whom I will use next time. Will NEVER deal with Day Ross ever again.

If you have a choice, do not use this company. They have got to be the slowest shipping service ever. I seriously wonder if they only have a handful of trucks or wait until they're full before moving to the next point in the trek. It's either that or they use horses and buggies. Their phone message says they changed their name from "Same-day Shipping" to "Day&Ross".A better choice would have been "Some-day Shipping".

Can you give less than 1 star? Day and Ross would be a good candidate for 0 stars. Shipment weeks late. 6 calls in and empty promise after empty promise of a delivery date. Will I ever get my package? Maybe not

Not that a shipping company would read a review, but this is definitely one of the worst shipping experiences I've had. My pallet took 2 weeks to make a 6 hour drive with no notice, putting my whole company behind schedule. Upon finally sitting on hold with them I'm told my shipment has been in my city for days but they don't have enough drivers to deliver it. I can empathize with that, but it's not acceptable to provide no communication or status updates.
