I have been expecting a shipment that left Alberta May 23, 2022 and ETA of delivery was set for June 1, 2022. There are 2 packages that are being delivered to me in Toronto by Day & Ross. I was told on June 6 that the packages were to be delivered. I was also told that I would receive a phone call for a delivery appointment. I received neither a phone call or a delivery on June 6. I waited at my house all day and nothing happened. When I called Day & Ross June 7, I was told that my packages were back at the terminal but that could not actually be verified. Why? Because Day & Ross have zero control at whatever terminal in Mississauga they use. All they can do is send an email. Well, I have been waiting 2 days for a reply. I have had to call Day & Ross 3 times and every time they have no idea where my packages are or have any indication as to when they will be delivered. I have read many reviews here stating the same issue. Everyone should to what I did and file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I filed two of them as Day & Ross has 2 offices in Canada. One in NB and the other in SK. Have at it people! There is strength in numbers. My next target is going to be the company I bought a pergola from and why they utilise such a useless shipping company.

The worst ever shipping service in my life that the driver just let the package ( coffee table) in the elevator and he is gone. He was so rude and I never have seen this kind of poor service. For last 22 years any kind of packages I have had from any company they delivered to my door accept Day&Ross by the way 1 star is too much for them.

My brother is a truck driver with two years of experience that worked for Day & Ross company back to back & rest to rest and he didn't have any accident or ticket and when the broker didn't pay him for any reason he complained to Mississauga management but he didn't receive any kind of support from them and they only said to go to complain to court. He then complained to the head office in Hartland and Brampton but received no support from them either. I want to say this company doesn't support or care about the drivers and I can name more issues that if anyone wants me to I will in another

Absolutely a nightmare, just look at the overall review and how many other frustrated consumers/business customers. I would give them a negative star if there is anything like that. A LTL shipment shipped with pallet and wrap will lose the pallet and wrap and even multiple boxes, all the time, check. Missing delivery appointment to make customers wait for extra days, check. Delivery without notice or call, even with appointment delivery paid, check. You pay by dimensions, then come back and tell you this is too large, now it needs a two-man team, need to charge you for another $200, and re-delivery fee, check. White Glove Delivery, where signature is required, but delivered without even ringing the bell of customer, and left the package without signature, check. Unethical re-dim your package, to increase weight from 300 lb to 1500 lb, by doubling the width and tripling the height of your skid, magically, just to charge you another $500, oh and with a certificate of fraud, check. Need I to say more? SHAME on you, if you even have such a thing called sense of shame. We have 1-2% faulty rate with other carriers, with Day & Ross, it's like 10% or more. Totally hopeless, the only way you are still in business is because of the lower price, but there is always a catch for that!

We used to have pretty good experiences with them, but a year or two ago they started trying to charge for their driver using the lift gate when it wasn't requested or required. He would use the lift gate to avoid having to wait a few minutes for us to unload him and then they would try to charge an additional $75 for the service that we did not request. This resulted in numerous phone calls to customer service to request who were also unpleasant to deal with

This is by far the worst transportation and logistics company to work with. Their driver came and hit our delivery truck and damaged our delivery loading dock. The driver then failed to remain to resolve the issue. We reported the issue to Day and Ross claims, which took down the information. It has been over 2 months ... yes TWO MONTHS and we have yet to hear from their "Adjuster". Warning: Day and Ross runs a decentralized model. The main line you call is simply a routing receptionist who cannot actually help you. Each Terminal is run separately and you cannot get in touch with them. Short of me suing the company, I have no other options. Update: I couldn't wait any longer and had to just go ahead with repairs out-of-pocket. WORST COMPANY EVER.

Terrible experience. Phone call to book delivery was courteous and appreciated. I was told delivery would occur between 9 and 5 on the scheduled day and that I would get a call 1 hour prior. I did not receive a phone call. The delivery people didn't even knock on the door to let me know they had arrived. They just took my package with my $1600 purchase and left it against the house. The only reason I knew someone was there was because the dog barked. When I went outside the delivery truck drove away. My package looked like it had been thrown around. The boxes were so damaged that on one the strapping had gouged through and damaged a second box inside and the back of the box was sheared off by about 6 inches. My product inside was also damaged. I called the company with a complaint and sent an email at their request. The response I got was a quick "oh, sorry. The home Depot will deal with this." I would definitely NOT recommend this company and big corporations likeThe Home Depot shouldn't use them either unless they want their name tarnished as well

Purchased large item through home depot canada site, they lost the item and over 15 phone calls to their customer service center they still cannot tell me where it is. Home depot won't refund because it shows shipped, complete screw up. This company DOES NOT give a flying ... about helping there customers, say they will "email the shipping depot" and get back to you with updates- nothing. They do not call you/email you back and it is on average 35 minutes hold to talk to someone. Stay clear you'll thank me

Man I was scared reading ALL the bad reviews. I wasn't expecting my package this fast! OK, their tracking system needs a lot of work, like a lot. When you see your package go from Mississauga to Lachine then the next day Mississauga to Lachine again. Then the next day on my porch. I can understand the frustration some people may have when looking at their tracking. In the end, I received my 105lb package in a few days which is very good to me. 👍

If I could give a lower star I would. My experience was horrible. I paid for shipping and when the driver arrived he was very rude. Long story short we had to unload the products I purchased and payed for shipping to have it delivered. The driver kept saying not my job and it was his job to unload my merchandise as that is why you pay for delivery. For one thing he should never allowed us on the truck which makes you liable for the sore back that I incurred while in the truck unloading the merchandise. I also had to pay people to help unloading my things. So not only did I incure the shipping cost I also had to spend more money to have people do his job. I feel that 💯 you should refund all my money including my time as well. Venom Motorsports Canada gave me a $50.00 Amazon card for the inconvenience but I feel that you should be refunding my initial delivery charges plus the money that I had to pay extra for people to help unloading the machines when it was your responsibility to unload my merchandise. Plus the fact that I hurt myself on your truck you are lucky that I am not pursuing a civil lawsuit against you. Your driver did absolutely nothing but stand there and say that it's not my job when infact it is his job. Hopefully you will read this and get back to me. Definitely not impressed. I was just going to chalk it up to a bad experience but everyone that I told the story to said that I shouldn't. At least VENOM MOTORSPORTS Canada gave me a $50.00 Amazon card which comes nowhere near the shipping cost plus the money on top of that, that I had to spend to get it unload and the fact that I hurt myself while in the back of your truck. Your company should be ashamed of itself for treating customers the way that your driver treating me!!!! Plus one of the items was damaged and you can see that I checked the box accepted with damage but I didn't have a choice or he would have just left them in the driveway as I wasn't going to do his job twice and the fact that he wouldn't let me inspect them until they were off the truck as he said that he didn't want the garbage ie packaging on his truck . So at the very least I feel that you should refund me all of the money back. I feel that VENOM MOTORSPORTS Canada should never use your company again for deliveries.

Absolutely horrible company to deal with. I had freight that was supose to be delivered on Friday, got a call the following wednesday to book a drop off (5 days after the initial drop of date), asked for Thursday before 2:30, 3:00 package wasn't delivered, spent an hour on hold with costumer service only to get that the package will be here by 5:00, so I had to take a day off work to wait for a package that was critical and already 7 days late. Not only was the wait time over an hour, the only thing that costumer service said was "I don't know, that's a different location, I don't have access to this location"

Absolutely unwilling to work with customers for a mutually agreeable time window……unless you can sit around and wait for 8 hours for driver to decide he’s ready to deliver your goods. Manager doesn’t care either. Very inflexible. They think that’s an acceptable to sit and wait for a phone call from driver. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They do not care about customers or providing a good service. Too bad their poor attitudes reflect poorly on the company that has contracted them out. Had to cancel order because of Day and Ross poor attitude and bad service.

Home depot uses this company for delivery. They only deliver to the building's lobby and not to the apartment even after learning that the customer cannot lift heavy items. What a useless service!!
