Tracking says my package has been sitting in Castlegar since Monday, it is now the end of the day Thursday, and still no package, nor update to the tracking. Just says delayed. I'm in the Slocan Valley. Package was shipped from California on April 7th, and was initially expected to arrive on APril 14th, it is now the 21st, no package. No details. Just sitting in Castlegar. If I knew where it was I would drive in to pick it up.

For over a decade Fed Ex delivered to our house. In a snowstorm they would drop in town (Rossland) for us to pick up. Twice in the last month they would not deliver to our house saying it was an improper address. I will repeat, they delivered to this same address for over a decade. While talking to Fed Ex Kelowna that oversees the region, we were told they know they have a problem with the Castlegar facility. Here is to hoping that they fix it but so far no luck. The worst is, you do not even get notified there is a problem. We only found out as we were expecting packages. Even the process of finding out if there is a potential problem is frustrating. Topping if all off you cannot even register a complaint on their site with them. When you click on that option you get a page telling you of the Covid weather problems but with no ability to address other problems. It is shocking that this company, once considered a leader in customer service, now has become a top example of lack of customer service. We tell everyone not to use them for us whenever possible now but you cannot catch them all. Then you know your week is wasted trying to track down your package and then driving 40 minutes both ways for something that was paid for shipping to your door. Covid and weather are real major events. However, shame on Fed Ex to be using them as an excuse for their ongoing company problems.
