Worse experience. And this was from a couple of experiences. The first, They "delivered my packaged" and it was no where to be seen. I tried to call but it's just machine. Luckily the company I ordered sent another packaged and I got it. Second time they left my packaged for everyone to see. There is no option to have signature or even an option when the package can be delivered. I can't even talk to a human being on the phone. Outrageous.

Left instructions with the sender & later Canpar to phone me when they arrived with my parcel as I am not connected to the front intercom. They left a note saying they missed me. Upon calling, I was informed that it was up to the driver's discretion to phone me. Note said they'll try again the next day. I called Canpar and, after maybe 30 minutes of waiting, instructed the person to please have the driver call me. Result: driver decided not to even try and left the parcel at the station. I used to be a shipper/receiver. There were reasons why we didn't go with Canpar unless we had to. Looks like nothing much has changed.

Considering all the good delivery companies out there, no one should ever need to use Canpar. Customer service is non-existent, and don't even bother trying to arrange a time for delivery when you will be home. If you miss the delivery, they let you pick up your package at a depot far, far away or charge you to make another attempt. If I could give fewer than 1 star, I certainly would.

This is the worst delivery company ever! Firstly, their website does not update the whereabouts of your parcels; it only says the day it is going to be delivered. Once the supposed day comes, it is going to take 5 more business days - if you are lucky - to have your parcel delivered. There are people actually waiting for almost a month on their deliveries. Don't take their business, people! Go somewhere else. Avoid yourself a headache!!!

Update: so I have another parcel scheduled for delivery from Canpar. I leave a note on the door for them to call me, because the door intercom is unreliable. They do not call, of course, but leave a tag right next to my note. The tag says they will attempt to deliver again on the next business day. So I decide to just wait outside for them that day, because it's a nice day and I know when to expect them. After waiting 20ish minutes, I realize they are probably not coming. The tracking info is finally updated, saying I have to go pick it up. So the part that said they would attempt to deliver it again the next day? Yeah that was a total lie. If they're not even going to ATTEMPT a second delivery, why not just dump the box at the depot on Friday? Then I could pick it up before the weekend. Also the originally scheduled delivery day was wrong. Is it that hard to predict how long it takes a box to go from Ontario to Manitoba? ------------------- Unbelievable. You want me to travel to basically outside the city to pick up my parcel? There was nowhere closer I could pick it up? That's what they call a "smart spot?" This depot is only open for five hours in the afternoon, and closed all weekend. Even if you go there in the afternoon, the staff is gone for lunch for half an hour. And they only hold the parcel for five days.
