Recently bought a $700 motherboard for a workstation and the delivery guy attempted the delivery to the house but no one was there to sign for the package. So they took it to the post office and left a notice. I assumed, obviously that they left it in my P.O. Box. However 2 hours later the tracker said it was delivered, which mean someone picked it up and signed for it. I asked the everyone in my household if they went to the post office and signed it. No one did! Which I’m guessing means Canada post put it in the wrong P.O. Box and let someone sign for it without confirming the address on the package. They tried to tell the seller that the delivery drive brought it to my house and the receiver signed the package at the address, even though the tracker said it went to the post office.

Have an email of a notice of delivery with barcode and notice card number. In the email it states clearly I can use either the barcode in the email OR the notice card left in the mail box. I have tried to receive my item with the email in my phone and was refused service. I've been waiting all day for my parcel as Canada post clearly states its there with the tracking number in place and still no notice card in the mailbox making it difficult to complete my daily routines for work.

CONSTANTLY waiting on my parcels, sometimes weeks late when my notifications indicate it's already at the post office. Maybe hiring more people to help the overly worked staff would help, but then you'd have even more grumpy rude workers...

I dunno why everyone is so rude. It's a standard fair post office. The hours could be a bit better suited to working people, but they do good work.
