This place is kinda small, but recently, people that aren't employees of this place are not allowed to go into the part where the mail is coming from which is disappointing

Hated it. Too much technology that saves your company money but provides lousy service to the public.

We recently moved to Truro(Bible Hill). Following suggestions re how to get a key to a community mailbox, we went to a post office on Pictou Road where we were told it no longer is a post office. We were given a 1-800 number to obtain a key. I called that number and a man told me I had to put a mailbox at the end of our driveway. We are in Saywood Estates where there is a community mailbox at the top of the street. Regardless of my protests that it is an upscale subdivision with an obvious community mailbox, he insisted that I would not get a key. A visit to a new neighbor netted the advice to go to the main post office In the Truro Industrial Park. At our presentation there, an employee suggested I call a 1-800 number. I refused and a supervisor came out who stated he was new to Truro but would go out the next day, familiarize himself with Bible Hill, have the box drilled for a new key and we would get a notice at our residence. A week later, and two weeks since beginning this journey for a key we have no key. A subsequent visit to this main office was futile. The staff person told us she could not help us. She went out back for the supervisor but he had left. She said she did not understand when I said the box would be drilled for a new key. She attempted to find the person who looks after this. However, he had left as well. She took our phone number. No phone call. No key. A drive to Halifax to pick up our mail each week (a one hour fifteen minute drive). We are seniors who face many obstacles and ca not understand why it is so difficult to get a key to a community mailbox.
