I always enjoy the professionalism, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and use this post office whenever I can. But yesterday Wendy and company outdid themselves. A package I had sent overseas had not been received and I had lost my receipt. Knowing it was a long shot, I asked Wendy if there was any way they could find the transaction. Fortunately, I knew the day the item was shipped, and Wendy didn't hesitate -- she spent 20 minutes going through her records (fortunately it wasn't too busy) and, to everyone's surprise, she found the transaction, traced the package and gave me a copy of the receipt. That is the kind of postal service you hope for but rarely get at satellite offices.

It's always a pleasure to be served by real postal workers, and the staff at the downtown post office has always been professional, knowledgeable and helpful. But last week they outdid themselves. I was sending a package to BC in (gasp) an LCBO box. The man behind the counter looked at me regretfully and confided that no box could be sent through the mail that had any marking related to alcoholic beverages regardless of what was actually inside of it. (Who new?) His associate apologized and said I could take it home and wrap the offensive graphics or do it at the post office, which I chose to do. While I was wrestling with the box, trying to wrap it in brown paper, the posty came around the counter and began helping me. (He even found where the tape actually started on the roll!) Together we had it fit to ship in no time. Now you just don't get service like that at your local pharmacy. Thanks!

The lady behind the counter was very nice but couldn't accept my health card as identification because of your rules. I am a disabled lady in an abusive relationship and I need my mail (credit card) to get away. Please accept Ontario health cards as photo I. D. I don't look exactly the same as I did when I had that photo taken.

I received a phone call after creating a ticket no. due to the poor service and it resulted in an even worse experience and worse service so I left a phone message from its source. In that phone message, I indicated I would be taking this further and now I am and if this does not result in anything, I will then take it even further! This is is ref. to mail and parcel del and are two separate instances! The first was ongoing deliveries to wrong address and the second is receiving a parcel clearly marked as no safe drop due to being a fine antique, breakable and was insured as well! I have the evidence and the ref. # created is as follows #139767443. I am not amused and no one is arms length so take note and act accordingly! I will pursue this further. Worst service ever and tired of the attitude I am getting when I complain about it! There is always a line of command and I will just go up the food chain of smart mouthed employees if necessary!
