I came to the post office on Wasaga Beach to carry out a simple procedure: confirmation of residence for obtaining a credit card to this particular address, since we moved here quite recently. My husband did the same procedure about a week ago without any problems. But something went wrong with me. Despite the fact that I brought all the necessary documents that were indicated in the letter from the bank, first a clerk named Samantha, and then Louis from the postal service refused me categorically, on the basis that my driver's license had an old address. So after all, that's why the bank wanted to make sure that I live at the new address! If I already had a driver's license with a new address, then the bank would not ask me to go to the post office to confirm the new place of residence! I called the bank, they said that this happens all the time and this is a headache for them. This is how negligent postal workers who do not know or do not understand their duties really complicate people's lives.
