Canada Post, Whitehorse, YT

If I could post no stars, I would. I have a package that I was supposed to pick up and the notice card indicated that I could’ve picked up earlier but I have been sick until this Friday, 28th of October and it was the only time I actually got out of bed and be able to pick it up. When I arrived at the mainstreet location, there was a sign posted saying that they are closed Friday, 28th of October until Monday, 31st of October. The package is a halloween costume and I was hoping to wear it for the weekend since no one really parties on a Monday. The reason that they were close is due to staffing shortage. I worked at customer service before and shouldn’t there at least be a manager to sit and work at the post office. Couldn’t they grab another employee from the other Canada post location (beside save on foods) to work for the times they posted online and the time indicated on the notice card?

Specific to main St location, worst service I've encountered with Canada Post . Ignorant wouldn't describe the way they treated my son, and myself on 2 seperate occasions. Ombudsman notified!

Terrible service. Still waiting for a package from Vancouver that was sent Dec 17. It's now January 10. Been there twice since I received a notice and the male staff was extremely unhelpful

I really appreciate our Canada Post. They have convenient locations dispersed throughout the area and they are so consistent in their services that dealing with them is always a pleasure. Thank you Canada Post!
