I’m sorry to put a two star comment for the specific store. The staff was really nice and gave me very clear instructions. If nothing had ever happened I would definitely rate 5 stars. However, Canada Post at some spot in Edmonton lost my xpresspost envelop which had my passport in side. The last stamp of the envelop marked it was going out of Edmonton then totally lost. The customer service guy said the insurance on the envelop itself can cover up to $100 compensation, but that’s just nothing compared to my all visas in there. Had to apply for everything all again. Even Had to cancel my vacation plan.

Convenient all service mail depot in Oliver Square. The staff are helpful and courteous. It's a bit confusing though because London Drugs also holds parcels for Canada Post and it's just a couple stores over.

It's a convenient location, however if you need to use flex delivery/pick items up here, it is nearly impossible considering the hours of operation. It would be great if hours extended to 6 pm on weekdays and opened on Saturdays.

I go to this Canada Post all the time for my small business, sometimes twice a week. The staff is incredibly friendly all the time and they even remember me when I go in there! Staff is always helpful and patient. Can not say enough good things about this Canada Post location

Professionalism is non-existent here. There is one agent in particular that is the reason I try to avoid this location and go to Kingsway where they are fast and way more consistent. As I mail the exact same documents each month, I believe I have a good handle on my needs. Today I got the agent I try to avoid and after we determined the envelope I needed (even though it’s different from the envelope I get every single month at Kingsway) I filled out my address label and left it in her hopefully capable hands. As I’m standing outside sending a text, I hear her talking negatively about me to her colleague. I walked right back in the store and let her know I heard her talking about me. Word of advice for this location, you’re in the customer service industry, hire people that are good to your customers, we’re the reason you’re employed! Or at the very least, maybe whisper your customer grievances because I’m partially deaf in one ear and I heard the conversation perfectly standing outside the door!

Yesterday approximately 11:30 there was quite a lineup constantly 10-12 people so a bit of a wait as about 8 people in front of me. A young very able bodied man’s turn came up and he had a plastic bag full of things he was mailing (not parcelled)..the postal clerk was wrapping up this guys parcels using Canada Post prepaid boxes adding tape, making up labels as well using valuable time he could’ve been helping other customers as all wickets occupied and having this person go off to side and wrap up his own parcels etc..hey if it’s not busy great to be a helpfull postal clerk but when busy like that, come on use common sense.

I don't know which Canada Post my order was sent from, BUT ! 5 stars to a lady named Karen Rose!. She called me to make sure my address was fixed and made me feel like I wasn't just another package that got lost, like I actually mattered, where as 1 star for the other Canada Post (on call) woman that was rude, hard to understand, and snarked "It's being sent back!!".

Wondering why your Oliver Square staff in Edmonton don't wear masks, when it's bylaw? Two staff members without masks. When asked by a customer why she didn't have a mask on, she said she was exempt. After the customer left she put a mask on. If they are exempt, they should be working in the back, not where they are facing the public.

0 stars if possible due to lack of website information being up to date to account for a closing time of 16:00. 16:00 makes it pointless to have operating hours if you have a normal job. No weekend hours of operation means this location should be PERMANENTLY SHUT DOWN Canad Post!!!! and the sooner the better. With other viable options to host a Canada Post operation, why keep this location in operation?

Went in to get help after a nearby postal outlet refused to give me my package despite producing more than the required ID. An older Asian lady working the counter basically said it's their company and they can do what they want and there's nothing Canada Post can do about it. Huh!? I implored her to check the website regarding ID requirements or call a manager but she was just not interested in being helpful under any circumstances. In the end she finally gave me the number of the regional manager from Canada Post who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He of course confirmed what I told the lady, that all parcel outlets are required to meet the Canada Post operational guidelines. After a single phone call from the manager my issue was resolved. I hope the lady from Canada Post who left me feeling helpless will also get some training or some time off to reflect on what customer service means. That one lady cost you thousands of dollars of my business.

I paid for express shipping on my insurance check and was told 3-5 business days, by the time it arrived it was late, it was delivered 20 days later, I phoned to complain at the 15 day mark, they told me to wait until it shows delivered, my insurance company told me they finally received it but it still shows "in transit". I phoned again to ask for a refund for the difference between express and regular shipping and they told me to call FEDEX because their express shipping is through them...... which they failed to mention before hand.

They have an employee there, Linda I believe is her name, and she argues with every single person. The gentleman in front of me had the weight and dimensions for a parcel he was considering sending to Germany and requested an estimate. She said she need the parcel physically to do that. Everyone knew it was a lie and it was quite obviously completely absurd. Then she changed her story to say the other girls do it but that she does not like to. He tried to convince her and then asked to speak to her supervisor, another lie as name tag says postal clerk. Finally she said she would do it. He gave her the weight and then the length which was like 14.8 inches or something and she snapped "it has to be either right on or .5..anything over .5 is 15..." and he calmly said "ummm...ok 15 is fine please". Then I go up to get my package which was from a delivery they screwed up earlier that day. She said it was not there yet and I said well that makes no sense and explained why. Finally I left but then decided to ask another employee who turned up. She waked behind the desk a nd there it was. I had practically begged Linda to please just look as I paid for overnight and it was because it was essential I have it that day. She must have argued with the first guy for a good 5 minutes when the task took about one minute to actually complete. Same with me. She openly said how much she hates her job. I kind of would like to see her fired but honestly, she will just show up somewhere else in my life and ruin some other transaction. It was my third interaction there and all were negative no matter how fine I was feeling before coming across her path of fury. Thank you though to Stella who kindly listened to what was a plainly logical notion and reached down to locate my package.

Useless location. Only open 9-5 and closed weekends. If you ever get the misfortune of having your packages dropped here instead of other normal post offices and you work a normal job, good luck getting your package. There's not even a phone number to call this place.
