Another one, why is customer service so hard to come by. Ok first off if there isn’t any home delivery why do you constantly have to renew your mailbox, no money is due? Why more than once a year?And why is the first and final delivery always at the same time, almost after it’s overdue? Why when you do renew it doesn’t the person complete it properly so It doesn’t have to be done over and over again. There is no phone number because there are too many complaints and the main Canada Post number will tell you they can’t help you with anything. So many things put in the wrong boxes and then they blame it on people not changing their address properly. I’ve had the same address for years!

3 years ago delivery service was great. Not sure what happened but over the last 3 years delivery service has given me the wrong mail almost every single week and has put my mail in somebody else's mailbox. Not very handy when I'm waiting on stuff important. Not impressed. Needs to be looked at time management.

I have only ever had quick and pleasant interactions with this particular post office (CP as a whole is an entire novel of mishaps). The lovely staff helped me set up a PO Box, mail forwarding and delivery options on separate occasions, and they made things as simple and streamlined as possible. Dedicated parking is a huge asset in a tourist area and I have never needed to go over the 15 minute limit. Fingers crossed nothing changes!

Posting for other people: Constantly hold mail to “punish you”. Verified sent locally, tracked landed in Almonte, and it’s not in the box five days later. I believe withholding mail is a big no no? Voters cards were all over the floor at the post office. Peoples government mail,; ie health cards, drivers licenses, letters from notaries etc lying around. People constantly get other peoples, mail, and although people have been here for years if one thing is off they throw out, and don’t return to sender, but they put names in boxes that don’t own the boxes???!. Really big violations of confidentiality. There are people that need work, if you don’t like what you are doing or don’t think it’s worth doing it well then let someone else have a go at it.

I would give them no stars if I could. I went in on April 28th because a package that should have been delivered earlier had not arrived. I was asked to leave my phone number and they would call me on the Friday in the afternoon. I never received a phone call. I went in today and a worker finally found where my package was. The driver had put it in the wrong mail box so they had to send it back to sender. They are completely inept and their jobs. Canada post as a whole was very unhelpful throughout this process expect for one person. They need to stop costing the Canadian tax payers millions and shut down. I would never send anything through them because its going to cost way to much and get lost or returned because they do not know what they are doing. Just shut down.
