Canada Post, Corner Brook, NL

As someone who frequently orders mail and has it delivered through Canada Post, I’ve noticed that if anything is due to be delivered on a Friday, they won’t deliver it. They’ll keep it until Monday. I’ve also noticed that many times they’ve came to my door without a package, but left the slip saying no one was home and to pick up my package the next business day after 130pm. This is just pure laziness on Canada Posts part. They either need better employees, better rules, or both.

I agree with other reviews. This office needs new/better employees. My packages are always processed in corner brook one night, and then not delivered the next day. I instead get a notification saying that my package delivery was rescheduled. Its not like this anywhere else. Every other location delivers packages the day of arrival or the very next business day. This office appears to have lazy employees, or they are short staffed. Or perhaps both!

I have a post box at the location and had a card to pick up my package. They are never open the hours they say. Always a note saying closed when I try to pick up my parcel.

I am very disappointed with the service in the Corner Brook Post office. I avail of express post on a monthly basis and have had two experiences recently which have totally frustrated me. One experience I was told to come back in 2 hrs. as the clerk had a large order to complete and he couldn’t serve anyone. Stated he had no back up help. Today , at 1:15 the doors were locked with no explanation. There were at least a dozen or more customers trying the door which was locked... I was so disappointed because my express parcel was Easter gifts for my granddaughters living in Montreal . I decided to returned to the post office & give it a try once again at 2:30 . Lucky for me it had reopened. Apparently the clerk had to close for lunch... really no backup? It’s not good enough service . We have Shoppers Drug Mart postal service but I missed the cutoff which is normally 3:00 pm but due to COVID it happened today a 11:00 am Tomorrow it could be 1:00pm. What a way to run business! Please do something ! ,

Absolutely horrible customer service from the guy at front.. claims he's the "only one working" when attempting to get parcel that's apparently "in the back" . Receives parcels monthly and Absolutely dreads going into this location due to this same guy!!!!! He could use some training in customer service! Shame on you Canada Post! You can do better!!!!!!
