By far the lowest experience with any shipping company. I was receiving a gift from someone, as I didn't pay for the items, I wasn't given the tracking number or any information. Purolator doesn't leave any sort of notice that they tried to deliver a package, whether it's a notice on your door, or inside your mailbox like they've done for so many years before. You just have to hope someone told you, that you're about to receive anything. Now the gift has been returned to sender. I would avoid this business at all costs if you are sending to someone as a third party.

Driver consistently leaves parcels in the lobby of our 300 unit apartment where they are prone to being stolen. Called the HQ twice to complain. Was told depot manager would call but never heard from him/her. Creates a very difficult situation for the many seniors in the building to know they have a parcel and to have to go to the lobby to retrieve it. I rated with one star only because I couldn't rate with zero stars.

Service is way under par from Canada Post, at least Canada Post knows where the package goes, Purolator sends my package to a area code 6 hours away, everything is correct on my end but seems Purolator just can't do a simple delivery correctly.

Sudbury Purolator hires agents from time to time to handle their overload. Unfortunately, the agent that they used this week after Thanksgiving 2022 to deliver Amazon packages in Elliot Lake left them in our apartment building mailroom, instead of delivering them directly to the customers apartment and knocking on their door. Leaving them in the mailroom allows anyone to pick them up. The agent never even bothered to scan the parcels to tell customers that they were out for delivery nor that they were delivered directly to the customer's door. Sudbury Purolator used a similar agent earlier this year who literally threw the packages into our apartment building foyer for anyone to pick up. Elliot Lake is a retirement community. With the number of handicapped seniors in our building, they have difficulty coming down to the mailroom on a daily basis. The message I have, therefore, for Purolator Sudbury is doing the same thing over and over and over again and expecting a different result each time is the definition of insanity. Please don't use agents who don't even bother to deliver Purolator parcels directly to your customers. The agents probably aren't even bonded. In other words, Sudbury Purolator isn't delivering promises as they should. I have also reported this problem to Amazon Canada. They are seriously looking into resolving this ongoing problem. From all the posts here, it really looks like the Sudbury Purolator depot isn't serious about resolving this ongoing delivery problem in Elliot Lake themselves.
